NHL National Cable TV Schedule 11/1 – 11/7, 2018

With about a month of the season gone, things are starting to shake out in the NHL standings, and we’re already at the point that a few coaches are on the hot seat. St. Louis Blues fans from Bridgeton, MO to Fairview Heights, IL and everywhere in between are wondering whether Mike Yeo with last the week behind the bench. A win against the Blackhawks at home last week may have saved his job another day, but continued poor performance could mean changes in the near future.

The Jets, who play the Panthers Thursday in an NBC Sports Network matchup, don’t have any such worries, as they make their way toward another conference final appearance and hopefully beyond. The other game to watch this week is the leadoff for Wednesday’s doubleheader, with the last two Cup champions facing off in Washington, the Capitals and the Penguins, two good teams who don’t like each other one bit. NBA National TV Schedule 10/30 – 11/-5, 2018

Early in the NBA season, there are still a few surprise teams. The Detroit Pistons are performing above expectations, and the Boston Celtics performing below expectations, while the Warriors are dominating and the Lakers are picking up steam. Last week, the Lakers got their first wins, the Jazz got back on track, and the Western Conference continued to prove itself as the superior half of the league.

This week, there’s plenty to watch on NBATV, ESPN, and TNT, for fans in market for the Celtics in Boylston, MA, the Sixers in Franklin, PA, the Spurs in San Antonio, TX, and the Bucks in Monroe, WI.

Games to watch this week include the Pelicans and Thunder on NBATV next Monday. The Thunder are thus far having trouble getting started, with Russell Westbrook coming back from injury. On the other side of things, the Pelicans are flying high behind epic performances from Anthony Davis. The Celtics and Pacers play a tough eastern conference matchup on Saturday. And the Sixers and Raptors play a meeting of potential powerhouses in the east.

NHL National Cable TV Schedule 10/25 – 10/31, 2018

Over the last week, teams in the NHL have begun to develop their identities, with trends developing that could spell success for the rest of the season, or mean some teams with previous success will be taking a step back this year in the National Hockey League. Last year’s Cinderellas, the Vegas Golden Knights, finally ended a long streak without a regulation win that could or could not have been caused by the Imagine Dragons curse. The Red Wings and Oilers are having some troubles. But the Jets seem poised to repeat last year’s success.

The NBA season has started off with a bang last week. The defending champion Warriors are undefeated but not without a close call at the hands of the up and coming Utah Jazz on Saturday. The Lakers and Rockets are building quite the rivalry, one that’s not only about trading baskets but trading fists after Saturday night’s brawl. This week’s set of games may not include fisticuffs, but the teams are still working hard out of the gate before the mid-season doldrums, so you’ll want to see as the young stars attempt to prove themselves, the veterans play themselves into shape, and a whole lot more with this week’s slate of games.

Of particular interest this week are the two Lakers games, as we’ll get to see how the team performs without suspended Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram. Fans from Azusa, CA to Yorba Linda, CA will get to see their Lakers in action against the Nuggets as part of TNT’s Thursday doubleheader, and next Monday on NBATV.

Big games this week include a rematch of the season opener for the St. Louis Blues and Winnipeg Jets, which the Jets took handily, dealing the Blues a rough defeat and stunning the St. Louis market. Since the Cardinals didn’t make the playoffs this year and the Rams have jetted off to LA, St. Louis sports fans from Maryland Heights to Hazelwood have their hopes riding on the Blues and star forwards Vladimir Tarasenko and new arrival Ryan O’Reilly.

NBA National Cable TV Schedule for Opening Week

After a long offseason filled with plenty of player movement—Lebron to the Lakers! Boogie Cousins to the Warriors!—the games are finally ready to begin, with the season kicking off tomorrow night with a TNT doubleheader featuring two of the hottest teams in the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics, facing off followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder and the defending champion Golden State Warriors squaring up in the Bay.

The season opens with a home game for the defending Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals, who begin their title defense in earnest, and follows with a west coast game between California rivals the San Jose Sharks and the Anaheim Ducks. There are two games also the following night, with the Predators taking on the always popular New York Rangers and the Flyers taking on last year’s runners-up, the Vegas Golden Knights.

The first week of action ends next Wednesday with a Cup finals rematch between those Golden Knights and Capitals.

MLB Playoff Tiebreaker Games on Cable TV Today

The Major League Baseball regular season has officially ended, but it’s not over. With the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs tied atop the NL Central and the Colorado Rockies and Los Angeles Dodgers tied atop the NL West, there are still games to be played to determine who wins the divisions and who will have to play in the Wild Card game tomorrow.
