Big shakeup last week, as LSU has now unseated Alabama atop the rankings. Hockey Back on ESPN…ESPN+ That Is

For a long time, the place to see NHL hockey on cable TV was ESPN. That all changed in the early 2000s, when what was then the Outdoor Network, then Versus, and eventually NBC Sports Network took over the NHL broadcasting rights. But hockey is partially back on its longtime home, now available on the ESPN+ app, which is available to anyone with an internet connection.

The NHL season enters its third week of action with multiple nationally televised games, including a showcase for Conor McDavid, the best player in the NHL, as his Oilers hit the NBCSN airwaves. The team isn’t much, but he’s a player to watch, and fans across the nation will be glad to see him face off against one of Pennsylvania’s two favorite teams.
